Born and raised in Louisville, Chris graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and a secondary major in Finance. Chris was also a member of the University of Kentucky’s Honor’s Program, which includes advanced courses in Fine Arts and Humanities.

Chris obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was an Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal and graduated near the top of his class. Chris has been an Associate with Phillips Parker Orberson & Arnett, PLC, since passing the bar in October of 2004. Chris currently focuses his practice on worker’s compensation defense, premises liability defense, motor vehicle liability defense, construction liability defense, and professional liability defense.

Chris has been retained to provide services for a variety of insurance and private companies, including Farmers Insurance, Bristol West, Zurich North America, CNA Insurance, Sentry Insurance, Dairyland Insurance, Encompass Insurance and Hallmark Insurance Company. He prides himself on getting favorable results for his clients with an aggressive approach and an aim toward prompt resolution.

Chris is the proud father of his young son, Henry. The two enjoy spending time together exploring new places, watching University of Kentucky athletics, and doing their best to keep each other out of trouble.
