A native of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Sarah received her undergraduate degree in English from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. She also obtained a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of Kentucky, and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2008.
While a law student, Sarah was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Moot Court National Team, and also served on the Trial Advocacy Board. After graduating from law school, Sarah practiced in regional insurance defense firms, including PPOA, and also worked in the nonprofit sector. Sarah returned to PPOA in 2016, where her primary practice areas include personal injury defense, premises liability defense, commercial trucking defense and products liability defense.
Sarah is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all Courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She currently serves on the Fayette County Bar Association Board of Directors (2017-present), the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run (2018-present), and she is the President of the Ashland Elementary PTA (2018-present). In her free time, Sarah enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
