Blake was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisville before shipping off to The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in Columbus, Ohio to begin his legal studies. At the University of Louisville, Blake served in several campus leadership positions, including College of Arts and Sciences Peer Advisor, Historian of the Psi Chi International Honor Society, and Intern-Scholar for the Peace, Justice, and Conflict Transformations Program. He graduated from the University of Louisville in 2018 with a double-major in Psychology and Sociology, and a minor in Political Science. At Ohio State, Blake was a part of the Eminent Scholarship Program, which included a full-tuition scholarship to the college of law. He graduated from the Moritz College of Law in 2021 with several honors, including a CALI Award for Excellence and a published legal article.
In his spare time, Blake enjoys traveling, time with friends and family, and gardening. He is an avid Louisville football, basketball, and baseball fan, a newly-dedicated Ohio State football fan, and a former musician (guitar, bass, banjo, ukelele, saxophone, and tuba).
