Jake is a longtime Kentucky native. He graduated cum laud from the University of Kentucky Lewis Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in English. While at UK, he was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity, and was selected as part of the University’s inaugural congressional internship program in Washington, DC. Jake obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laud, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington. While at Mauer, he served as an associate and article editor for the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality, was awarded brief honors in moot court, and was selected to compete in the ABA National Moot Court Competition in Oklahoma City.

Jake has been with PPOA since 2021 as a law clerk and later an associate attorney. He is duel licensed (Kentucky & Indiana) and is primarily focused in the areas of medical malpractice, legal malpractice, municipal liability, and insurance defense litigation. He has also gained considerable experience litigating in new cutting-edge areas of the law, including anti-SLAAP litigation, in both state and federal court.

In his spare time, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and pets, traveling, running, and playing tennis. He has an interest in vinyl records and film/TV.
