Michael Austin

Michael was born in Long Island, New York but raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Michael was enrolled in the 3+3 Program while attending Louisiana State University; this program permitted him to complete his undergraduate and legal studies in 6 years instead of 7. While attending the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Michael maintained membership in the Black Law Students Association, the Tailgate Committee, and the Public Interest Law Society. He is the first and only lawyer in his family.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys gaming on his computer, keeping up with professional basketball and media, attending conventions and markets with his partner Breanna, and relaxing at home alongside their dog, Cannon.
